Sri Lanka Vs West Indies Live Cricket Streaming - 1st Test

Sri Lanka Vs West Indies Live Cricket Streaming

Chris Gayle was absolutely dominating for the first two days as he went on and scored a triple century. His triple century was an absolute treat to watch as he ended up his innings scoring 333 in 437 balls with 34 boundaries and 9 sixes. Barath, Bravo and Nash contributed with half centuries each. West Indies declared their first innings for 580 losing nine wickets. Ajantha Mendis was the only thing to cheer about for Sri Lanka where he took 6 wickets.

This score of 333 is highest individual score by any West Indies batsman as Gayle surpassed Vivian Richards 291 at Oval in the year 1976. Also 9 sixes in an innings is a record by any West Indies batsman.

This test match has a lot to tell as the Sri Lankan batsmen would like to show their skills as well and capitalise to the maximum; if pitch has to offer something to the batsman. Stay tuned with Sri Lanka Vs West Indies live cricket streaming online.

Australia Vs West Indies: 2nd test ends in a draw!

Australia Vs West Indies
Chris Gayle’s dream of scoring a Test century against Australia did come true but not the one to beat the Kangaroos in their own backyard, as the hosts managed to salvage a comfortable draw in Adelaide. But Gayle’s plucky, undefeated knock of 165 did earn him the player of the match award.

Australia would have hardly fancied their chances of chasing 330 on the final day on the bouncy Adelaide track but West Indies failed to capitalise on the golden opportunity created for them by Gayle’s century in the second innings and Dwayne Bravo’s in the first. As a result, Australia survived at 212 for five.

West Indies put up a performance that was several notches higher than their abysmal show in the first Test. The foundation of the inspired performance was laid by Dwayne Bravo’s fine 104 in the first innings and a solid knock of 92 from the bat of Brendon Nash. West Indies hence, reached a competitive total of 451 in the first essay. Johnson, who took three wickets in the first innings, finished the match with eight wickets.
