India Vs South Africa Live Streaming - Day 2 - 1st Test

India Vs South Africa Live Streaming

Day 2 begins with hopes that it won't rain anymore and with more precise hopes that Indian bowlers would also repeat the performance that the South African bowlers did on day 1.

Day 1 which was badly hit by rain allowed only 38.1 overs of play which totally belonged to the South African bowlers. Indian batting line up (which is the strongest batting line up on paper) was completely shattered as they were 136 for 9 on day 1 at stumps.

Steyn took 3 and Morkel took 4 wickets. Notable contributers were Sachin (36), Dhoni (33 not out) and 27 from Harbhajan. A score of about 150 is not enough on any pitch and hence the Indian bowlers have to perform pretty well if India has to survive in this match.

Probably a regular rainfall might be a saviour for India but cricketing world expects much better display than what India has showcased today. Stay tuned as this India Vs South Africa match is entering into an interesting stage on day 2.

India Vs New Zealand Live Streaming 1st ODI

India Vs New Zealand Live Cricket Streaming

World cup is round the corner and it is some ODI cricket now. Getting accustomed to Indian conditions is very essential for New Zealand as a preparation for world cup. At the same time this is the last opportunity for India to play some 50 over internation cricket in the subcontinent, before they leave for a tour to South Africa.

In the absence of some star cricketers, team India has to push in hard to show some competitive cricket. The stand in captain, Gautam Gambhir will be striving hard to find his form back. It is a long time after which India will be playing in the absence of Dhoni as the skipper. But not to forget Indian bench strength is too strong with some brilliant young cricketers. They would love to take this opportunity and prove their talent and find a place in the world cup.

Talking about the recent form; India has won 3 and lost 2 matches out of the past 5 ODI encounters. At the same time the Kiwi form has been purely dismal with 5 losses on the trot.

So stay tuned as India Vs New Zealand 1st ODI brings a lot of exciting cricket.

India Beats New Zealand to Win The Test Series 1-0

India Vs New Zealand Highlights

It is all over! Match and the series goes to India. A hard fought series finally lands into the pockets of team India. A spirited performance in the 3rd test leads India to a victory by an innings and 198 runs.

Here is the summary:-
New Zealand 193
India 566 for 8 declared
New Zealand 175
India wins by an innings and 198 runs

Harbhajan and Ishant Sharma took 3 wickets each where as Ojha clinched two. Thus India has won the series 1-0 and they head to South Africa with another series win in their bowl. Definitely India has learnt many lessons from this series and they can take this as a wake up call before we all observe another exciting series of India Vs South Africa. But before that we still have a 5 ODI match series between India and New zealand where Gautum Gambhir will be the skipper of team India.

A happy ending for team India as Dhoni has another test series win under his belt. Thing to be noted is India is still unbeaten in a test series since the mid of 2008 which is again a great achievement. Hopefully the form continues in South Africa and they clinch their first ever test series win there.

India Beat Australia To Win Test Series 2-0

India Vs Australia Test Series 2010

India has retained the Border Gavaskar trophy as they defeated Australia very comprehensively in the 2nd test at Bangalore. Morning speculations were that Australia may give a tough time for Indian batsmen to chase any target. But things went exactly the other way. Early departure of Sehway actually didn't make any difference on the Indian aggression. Murali Vijay (37) and Cheteshwar Pujara (72) anchored the innings very well with a high run rate to complement.

Sachin Tendulkar continued his great form and scored an unbeaten 53 with Rahul Dravid (21) to take India home with a 7 wicket victory. India chased the target of 207 in just 45 overs. MS Dhoni praised Indian bowlers who clicked on time and helped India cleen sweep Australia 2-0

Sachin Tendulkar was declared Man of the Match and Man of the Series. Sachin has also moved on to the number one position in ICC Test Rankings for batsmen.

India has improved its ratings to 130 and maintaining the number one Test position in ICC ratings. Whereas Australia has dropped down to 5th position.

CSK beats Warriors to lift the Champions League T20 2010

Chennai Super Kings Champions of the Champions!
Well Well Well it all comes to an end on a good note! Chennai Super Kings prove their supremacy in T20 cricket by winning the Champions League T20 2010. Not only have they won the trophy but they have purely dominated in all the departments. Ashwin wins the golden ball. Murali Vijay wins the golden bat and MS Dhoni lifts the trophy.

Batting first Warriors could just managed 128 with Jacobs again batting well for his 34 off 21 balls. Muralitharan took 3 wickets while Ashwin managed to take 2 wickets and win the Golden Ball (highest wicket taker in this CLT20).

In reply, CSK never looked to be losing as they comprehensively outsmarted Warriors by scoring 132 for 2 in 19 overs. Hussey scored an unbeaten 51 while Murali Vijay scored a blistering 58 to win Golden Bat (highest run scored in this CLT20).

This is the last time the CSK players are playng together as IPL next year will have new auctions and teams will have new players. CSK has made the most in last 3 years: 3 times reached semis of IPL and won the IPL once. Featured in Champions league once and won it in style! Another feather in the cap of Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

All Hail The Chennai Super Kings!!!

They play like Kings! They are Chennai Super Kings... They have outbeaten the oppositions in both matches that they have played in CLT20 this year. This time it was Wayamba Elevens.

Suresh Raina's demonstrating 87 and Murali Vijay's 68 took CSK to a mammoth total of 200. In turn the Wayamba Elevens never ever looked like in the driver's seat. They could hardly manage 103 all out losing the match by a huge margin of 97 runs.

Raina's 87 runs off 44 balls with 6 sixes was a treat to watch. Murali Vijay scored 68 off 46 balls. Dhoni showers eulogies on the Raina-Vijay duo.

Tri Series 2010: India keen for another success

India is keen to succeed in the Tri Series in Bangladesh which kicks off today with Srilanka taking on the home team Bangladesh. India will start their campaign against Srilanka on 5th of January. Each team will play four league matches before the top two qualify for the final on 13th of January.

India has seen a great success under the captaincy of MS Dhoni with six one day bilateral series wins in the last seven series. India is currently on the top position in the Test rankings and they are on the second spot following Australia in the ICC ratings for ODI teams. The series win here in Bangladesh will surely help India to narrow down the points difference between the first and the second spot in the ICC ODI rankings.

India will also play two test matches against Bangladesh at Chittagong and Dhaka later this month.

Dilshan's knock helps Srilanka to win the 2nd ODI

India Vs Srilanka 2nd ODI
Tillakaratne Dilshan was once again the hero for Sri Lanka as he notched up his sixth ODI century and second of the series. His sparkling 123-run knock came off 113 deliveries with the help of a dozen hits to the fence and two mammoth sixes. His brilliant knock made him an obvious choice for the player of the match award.

After missing out by an agonizing margin in Rajkot, Sri Lanka made amends in Nagpur. The islanders held their nerve and emerged victorious by three wickets, chasing down India’s 301 to level the five-match series one all.
While Dilshan laid the foundation for the win, it was Angelo Mathews who held his nerve with an unbeaten 37 off 25 balls to see Lankan through.

Earlier, Indian skipper MS Dhoni combined the power of punches with the art of placement as he paced his 111-ball innings with utter beauty to bat India to a competitive 301. The scintillating knock of 107 was pierced with eight powerful boundaries and two thunderous sixes.

Virat batted with immense maturity for his 54 runs. He worked hard between the wickets and also played some lovely strokes. Suresh Raina too contributed with his quick-fire half-century that comprised off four boundaries and three meaty blows over the fence. The left-hander stormed his way to a 55-ball 68, before falling to Mathews.

India will meet Srilanka in the next ODI at Cuttack on 21st December.
